How to Set MX Records using the cPanel Zone Editor



MX records are the DNS entries to handle the email of the particular domain. You can choose to have your default setting but in case you want to point your email to some other 3rd party server like Gsuite, Microsoft Exchange, iCloud , you will have to change your MX records in the cPanel zone editor of the domain.

Here we will tell you how to change the MX records in cPanel Zone editor.

1 - You will have to login to the domain cpanel

2 – Search for zone editor and click on the same.

3 – Choose your domain from drop down and click on +MX record

4 - You need to choose the domain where you need to change the MX records and then click on +MX Record.

5 - Fill in the fields with your data

6 - Enter the Priority and Destination settings into the corresponding fields.

7 - Click on Add MX record to save
